Thanks to everyone who joined us at the workshop in April. Here’s a quick update on where the Safe Streets initiative stands.

Our working groups on Security Planning, Financial Modeling, and Aesthetics are meeting regularly to work through the practical details of rolling this out.

On the approvals side, we’re still waiting to hear back from the Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) on the objections that were raised. We’ll keep this process transparent and share updates as soon as we have them.

In the meantime, keep an eye on our website for the latest news, an upcoming FAQ, and the full presentation from the last session.
