Initially, a project of the Melville Residents’ Association, the Melville Security Initiative (MSI) was founded in 2009 as a non-profit organisation with its primary goal of maintaining & implementing security solutions for the safety and security of the community and all who reside and operate businesses within its boundaries.
A community initiative.
The MSI is incorporated for a communal or group interest benefit or a public benefit section 10 – schedule 1 company and is managed by residents of Melville. They volunteer their time and expertise to maintain and improve security in the suburb.
The initiative employs, amongst other suppliers, Beagle Watch to provide security in conjunction with VumaCam.
